  • CURTIS-EAMES
In 1871, in Beechworth, VIC, my Great-grandmother, Frances Annie EAMES (1851-1902) married James CURTIS (1849-1885). The family lived in Albury and Wagga Wagga from 1871 to 1881. During the Quarter Sessions held in Wagga Wagga on the 4th of March, 1881, a James CURTIS was sentenced to 12 months in Darlinghurst Gaol; the charge was Child desertion. I would like to find out if this particular James CURTIS is the same one who married my Great-grandmother. Any advice on sources of information would be greatly appreciated.
